Our commitment to security
Ellithy places great importance on keeping its staff safe and protecting the company's data, information and property. We therefore apply a set of security procedures and standards that help provide a safe, orderly workplace and limit the risk of unauthorised access to our offices or to sensitive information and data.
These procedures cover controlling entry to the company's premises, monitoring the offices, protecting documents and data, and making sure staff know the security practices to follow at work.
Access control
Entry to Ellithy's premises is managed under security procedures designed to keep unauthorised people out of internal work areas.
Staff and other authorised people enter under the approved entry system, while visitors go through the verification and registration steps in place before they are let in.
These procedures help control who comes and goes, raise the level of security on the premises, and protect the staff, property and information in the workplace.
External protection
The surroundings of the premises are covered by the security measures that apply to the building and its area, adding a further layer of protection.
Entry for visitors and business contacts is organised in line with the approved security procedures, with the necessary measures taken to deal with any unusual activity or unauthorised attempt to enter.
Surveillance cameras
Security monitoring systems are used on the premises and in key areas such as entrances, exits and corridors, to raise the level of security and keep track of activity in the workplace.
Surveillance cameras help record security incidents when needed, and assist in investigating any incident involving the safety of staff, property or the premises.
Recordings are handled under the company's approved internal procedures and policies, with care taken to protect the privacy of staff and visitors.
Protecting data and information
Ellithy takes care to protect the data and information handled within the company, especially sensitive information and information about customers, staff and partners.
Appropriate measures are taken to limit unauthorised access to data, with access to certain information and systems restricted to the staff and people authorised for it according to their work and responsibilities.
Important documents and sensitive data are kept securely to reduce the risk of loss, damage or unauthorised use.
Staff security awareness
Staff are made aware of the importance of following security and safety procedures on the premises, and of best practice for protecting devices, data and information.
This includes not leaving work devices or sensitive documents unattended, keeping login details and passwords safe, and never sharing them with unauthorised people.
Staff are also encouraged to tell management straight away if they notice any unusual activity or incident that could affect the company's security, data or property.
Dealing with visitors
The company follows organised procedures for visitors to keep the workplace secure: entry and exit may be recorded, and a visitor's identity checked when needed.
Visitors are directed to the areas set aside for them, and their access to areas or information they are not authorised to see is limited.
Protecting documents and property
Ellithy takes care of the documents, equipment, devices and property on its premises through appropriate storage and protection procedures.
Important documents and sensitive information are kept in secure places, with access permissions set according to the nature of each role and its responsibilities.
Staff are asked to look after the company's devices and equipment and to report any loss, damage or unauthorised use as soon as they find it.
