Deleting from the app or website

If you can still sign in, this is the quickest route and takes effect immediately.

• Sign in with your phone number.
• Open your account, then Privacy.
• Choose Delete account and confirm.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected]from the address on your account, or contact us through the contact page, giving the phone number you registered with. We will verify the request before acting on it, so that nobody can have someone else's account removed.

What deletion does

• Your account is closed and you are signed out on every device.
• Your name, phone number and email address are removed from your profile.
• Your personal details are removed from the listings you published, and those listings are withdrawn.
• Your personal details are removed from enquiries you sent.

What is kept, and why

Enquiries and completed transactions are retained as anonymised business records — with your personal details removed — because they form part of our commercial history and, in some cases, of records we are required to keep.

Conversations you had with other users remain visible to the other person, without your personal details, so their own history is not deleted along with yours.

How long it takes

Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. Requests sent by email are actioned within 30 days of us verifying them.
